Britney shows off toned bod & yoga skills

The singer showed off her toned bod in a series of yoga poses wearing skin tight yoga pants and a crop top.

The mother-of-two has been known to have a yo-yo battle with her weight but is looking great as she gears up for a new show in Las Vegas and the release of an upcoming album which she's worked on with will.i.am.

The pictures feature in the recent issue of Shape magazine, where Britney also poses on the cover in a teeny white bikini.

Britney said, 'I'm doing 90 minutes of yoga twice a week in addition to a lot of cardio - hour-long sessions three times a week with my trainer, Tony Martinez.'

'The [Vegas] performances won't be simple - they'll be a massive party from start to finish. And to pull this off, I have to be in top condition and running at full speed,' she said.

Britney is also following the Nutrisystem programme to get her ready for the show, which is a shake for breakfast and lunch plus a dinner of protein and vegetables.

To make sure she doesn't get bored at the gym, trainer Martinez keeps the workouts varied and apparently pumps out her favourite pop tunes which include, Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" and Bruno Mars' "Locked Out of Heaven."

Taylor Swift amazed at Twitter success

Taylor Swift feels lucky to have followers on Twitter.
The superstar singer scooped an impressive eight prizes at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas last night.
Taylor spoke about her win after the event, where she confessed she's not sure why her fans connect with her in such a strong way.

"I don't know; I feel so lucky I have such a personal relationship with my fans. I feel so lucky they want to follow me on Twitter even though I just tweet about cats, Law & Order and food!" Taylor joked at the press conference.
"It's an amazing friendship and bond we've had over the years and I can't really define it. I just feel so lucky to have it."
Taylor bagged top prizes including Billboard Artist of the Year, Billboard 200 Album of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, Top Digital Artist and Top Billboard 200 Artist.
The 23-year-old gushed that the Billboard accolades are hugely important to her as they are voted for by fans and based on data tracked by officials.
"There is a significant meaning to each one of these eight awards and that is, it is proof of who is actually buying the albums and which songs people are passionate about," Taylor explained. "It's an actual measurement of what people are listening to out there in the world, [which] makes it that much greater of an honour to receive one. It's incredible."
The confident star gave a tongue-in-cheek response when asked about fellow chart topper Justin Bieber's success at the awards. Taylor refused to comment on the 19-year-old's prizes, but was keen to discuss her performance of 22 during the ceremony, which was a Dubstep inspired high-energy dance spectacular.
"It was a concept we felt would be so fun, and with it being in Las Vegas we got so many performers to make cameos. Like we had Cirque du Soleil performers here and there..."she gushed.
"I felt so lucky that the Billboard Awards allowed me to do that kind of performance on that scale."

After getting back together following Kristen's 2012 cheating scandal (with married director Rupert Sanders), the couple seemed to be doing well, but has now broken up, a source told E! Online.
The stars reportedly split on Saturday, after more than three years of dating.
Kristen is "heartbroken" over the breakup, but friends of the couple think the pair will get back together, according to the website.
"They are going to stay living at Kristen's house because of the dogs," the source said. "It's not fully over or he would have moved out."

Angelina Jolie: I had double mastectomy

Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie revealed Tuesday she has undergone a double mastectomy to reduce her high risk of breast cancer, encouraging other women to address threats to their health.
The ultra-glamorous Jolie, whose mother Marcheline Bertrand died of ovarian cancer at the age of 56, said she had managed to keep the issue quiet for months and continue working. Her partner Brad Pitt hailed her as "heroic."

Three months of grueling medical procedures including breast reconstruction ended in late April. Jolie, whose father is Oscar-winning actor Jon Voight, said her chances of developing breast cancer are now just five percent.
"Once I knew that this was my reality, I decided to be proactive and to minimize the risk as much I could. I made a decision to have a preventive double mastectomy," the 37-year-old actress wrote in The New York Times.
"I started with the breasts, as my risk of breast cancer is higher than my risk of ovarian cancer, and the surgery is more complex," she wrote, explaining that she carries a "faulty" gene, BRCA1, that put her at higher risk.
Her doctors estimated she had an 87 percent risk of breast cancer and a 50 percent risk of ovarian cancer, and Jolie said she went ahead with the procedures so her six children would not lose her at a young age.
"I can tell my children they don't need to fear they will lose me to breast cancer," said Jolie. She and Pitt, a Hollywood power couple dubbed "Brangelina" in the tabloids, have three adopted and three biological children.
Jolie described a several-stage surgical process, the main one of which is an operation that can take up to eight hours as the breast tissue is removed and temporary fillers are put in place.
"You wake up with drain tubes and expanders in your breasts. It does feel like a scene out of a science fiction film. But days after surgery you can be back to a normal life," she wrote.
The final phase of the process involved reconstruction of the breasts with implants, she said, adding: "There have been many advances in this procedure in the last few years and the results can be beautiful."
Jolie thanked Pitt for his support, saying the couple had "managed to find moments to laugh together," and said she now only has only small scars that her children can see without alarm.
"They know that I love them and will do anything to be with them as long as I can," wrote the actress, who took home the best supporting actress Oscar in 2000 for "Girl, Interrupted."
"On a personal note, I do not feel any less of a woman. I feel empowered that I made a strong choice that in no way diminishes my femininity."
Jolie, respected for her humanitarian work overseas, said she was speaking out to help other women understand their options, and also to urge authorities to help women in lower-income countries to get the health care they need.
"I am writing about it now because I hope that other women can benefit from my experience. Cancer is still a word that strikes fear into people's hearts, producing a deep sense of powerlessness," she wrote.
"It has got to be a priority to ensure that more women can access gene testing and lifesaving preventive treatment, whatever their means and background, wherever they live."
Jolie, one of the world's highest-paid performers, said the cost of getting tested for BRCA1 and another faulty gene, called BRCA2, is more than $3,000 in the United States and that this "remains an obstacle for many women".
"Life comes with many challenges. The ones that should not scare us are the ones we can take on and take control of," Jolie wrote.
Pitt, 49, quickly praised his wife for her bold move.
"Having witnessed this decision firsthand, I find Angie's choice, as well as so many others like her, absolutely heroic," Pitt told London's Evening Standard newspaper.
"All I want for her is for her to have a long and healthy life, with myself and our children. This is a happy day for our family."
Jolie earned plaudits for going public with her story.
CNN anchor Zoraida Sambolin revealed on-air that she would have a double mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer, saying Jolie "gives me strength."
Grammy-winning singer Sheryl Crow, herself a breast cancer survivor, tweeted: "I commend Angelina Jolie for her courage and thoughtfulness in sharing her story today regarding her mastectomy. So brave!"
Oscar winner Kathy Bates, who also battled cancer, said on Twitter she admired Jolie's courage and "classy way" of sharing her story, but also sent a health warning to women.
"I tested negative for BRCA 1 & 2. Had both breast & ovarian cancer. Examine your breasts, regular mammograms. Stay vigilant," Bates said.
Kristi Funk, the founder of the Pink Lotus clinic in California where Jolie was treated, said outside the facility: "We hope that the awareness she is raising around the world will save countless lives."
But the chief medical officer of the American Cancer Society, Otis Brawley, said that, while a preventive double mastectomy "might be the right choice for some women," women should seek second opinions before proceeding.

Suri Cruise To Launch Fashion Line

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ daughter Suri has reportedly signed a £1.5 million deal to launch her own fashion range. Could Suri become the next Victoria Beckham?

TomKat’s seven-year-old daughter has agreed to help design a clothing collection for young girls, according to The Sun.

The 'Suri' collection will be rolled out at shops across North America in 2014 after a New York launch this autumn, if it proves to be successful.

A source said: "Suri is only seven but she is incredibly interested in clothes. She has been through a very difficult year and adapted amazingly to her new life in New York, including the upheaval of starting normal school.

"This is a nice hobby for her, it's certainly not going to take over her life. Most girls dream of being able to make their own clothes, this just means her drawings will now become a reality. It'll be interesting to see how it pans out, there's nothing around quite like it."

Katie and her stylist Jeanne Yang are said to be involved in the project, which will feature dresses, tops, jeans, shoes and other accessories.

Suri Cruise was apparently first approached by a number of firms to write a regular fashion blog.

Kate Upton: My Boobs Are 'Natural,' 'I Love My Body'

The 20-year-old S.I. Swimsuit model has graced the cover of the fashion magazine's June 2013 issue (her first Vogue cover in the United States, but third internationally), and opened up about her voluptuous figure and the authenticity of her breasts. "They're natural!" Kate told Vogue, adding that she often gets grief over her curves and "bra size" when it comes to modeling gigs. "I can work out and I can stay healthy and motivated, but I can't change some things. I really just live my life." Kate -- who had small roles in "Tower Heist" and "The Three Stooges" and will soon be seen in Nick Cassavetes' upcoming comedy, "The Other Woman" (alongside Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann) -- said though her curvy figure may be criticized by high fashion authorities, she's proud of her physique. "I love my body. It's what God gave me!" she said. "I feel confident with myself, and if that inspires other women to feel confident with their bodies, great."

MC Hammer arrested in obstructing officer case

(CNN) -- Rapper MC Hammer launched a string of tweets Saturday with his side of the story two days after he was arrested in northern California for allegedly obstructing an officer.
Among his tweets, Hammer said, apparently referring to the arresting officer, that he was asked whether he was on parole or probation before the man tried to pull him out of his vehicle Thursday night.
Police in Dublin, east of Oakland, said Hammer was in a vehicle with expired registration and he was not the registered owner.
"After asking Hammer who the registered owner was he became very argumentative and refused to answer the officer's questions," police spokesman Herb Walters wrote Saturday evening in an e-mail to CNN.
Hammer -- a rap and dance icon in the late 1980s and 1990s -- was arrested on suspicion of resisting an officer and obstructing an officer in the performance of his duties, according to police spokesman Herb Walters.

The '90s rap star tweeted on Saturday that an officer approached him in his car and asked "Are you on parole or probation?"
He says that as he handed over his ID, the officer reached inside the car and tried to pull him out.
Dublin police Lt. Herb Walters told the Oakland Tribune (http://bit.ly/YPesHt) that Hammer, who was born Stanley Burrell, was arrested Thursday for investigation of obstructing an officer in the performance of their duties and resisting an officer.
He declined to comment to KTVU about Hammer's version of the arrest.
Hammer tweeted that he wasn't bitter and considered what happened "a teachable moment."lice spokesman Herb Walters.
